When our patients no longer respond to conservative treatment options or hyaluronic acid injections we refer them to the orthopedic surgeons at Illinois SW Orthopedics. The surgeons in this practice are all board certified and specialize in joint replacement procedures. They have more than 100 years of combined experience.
Illinois SW Orthopedics surgeons perform joint replacement surgery at the new Bone & Joint Center at Gateway Regional Medical Center. The Bone & Joint Center features all private post-surgical rooms designed exclusively for the patients' comfort and convenience. Physical therapy is done there on the unit and the staff is trained specifically for orthopedic patients.
